Christmas can be a time of joy and family, fun for some, but it can actually be a time of dread for others. When funds are short and there are bills to pay, Christmas can seem more like a burden than a celebration. For others it maybe that there is just no one in their lives to bless them this time of year.

But with your help, here, in our great community in the Bellingen Shire, we have a backup plan!
For the past seven years now, with ever increasing numbers you have helped us here at Lifehouse Church Pantry Bellingen, in conjunction with Foodbank Australia, local churches, Rotary, Vinnies, Bellingen Youth Hub, Bellingen Neighbourhood Centre, Bellingen Chemist and newsagents, as well as private donors supplying food hampers, gifts and toys to local folk who maybe doing it a bit tough.
Last year we again distributed around 120 hampers to families within the shire, from Dorrigo through to Urunga.
So with this in mind, if you know of a family, singles, the elderly, in fact anyone in our community that may be facing a lean Christmas, whom we may be able to help with a food hamper, or arrange a small gift for, please let us know, we are busy making our lists and checking them twice right now!
If you would like to share in the joy of giving and would like to sponsor a hamper for someone or have new gifts/toys etc. that could be given, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Kellie Small on 0457 491 468 or call into Lifehouse Pantry at the rear of the Lifehouse Op Shop in Bellingen on Tuesday or Friday mornings between 10-12. Thank you and God Bless you.
