With all the wet weather over the last month or so we at Bellingen Archers spent a bit more time than usual taking advantage of our tea breaks. The conversation turned to archery terminology. What is a group of archers called? We speculated that it could be a "mob" of archers, like kangaroos or emus. Probably not likely to be a "parliament" of archers, like a group of owls. I kind of like the sound of a "cluster" of archers.

Well the answer is pretty boring, it turns out a group of archers is called a "group of archers".
We want more suggestions for what a group of archers could be called, so if you are driving past Connell Park on a Sunday and see us shooting, stop by and let us know your suggestions. While you're there we can just have a chat and if you're looking at getting into archery we can let you know what the next step is.
Bellingen Archers meet at 8:30am every Sunday at Connell Park on the way into Bellingen and anyone can stop by to watch or ask questions. Anyone interested in shooting should come and have a chat in person or contact the club president, Fred Loggen, by email at frederickloggen@bigpond.com
