Continued innovation has led Jason Errey, director of OEMG and co-founder Rachael Stewart-Rattray to expand their solution to a Strategic IDGM, creating even greater benefits.
“In the simplest terms, we empower stakeholders to turn the discussion from the ‘business as usual’ approach of ‘How do I build this specific infrastructure here?’ to a more holistic question of ‘What infrastructure should we build that is best suited to the environmental/geological/community setting and where are the best locations to build?’” Jason said.
“While this sounds simple, it has created transformational change for several large projects and stakeholders including for the Eden Port Redevelopment, as well as more recent projects for Gold Coast Water, Bundaberg Marine Base and Geelong Ports, with some clients reporting in the orders of millions of dollars savings in public spending as well as significant prevention of environmental harm and improved social amenity for their projects.
“We are now looking towards the future with our technology giving governments the opportunity to create big strategic datasets to aid in long term strategic infrastructure planning and coastal zone management.”
Other awards received by OEMG in 2018:
