It was a rainy morning in Bellingen for the last Sunday of August, so after shooting a few groups of arrows in the wet weather we decided to make it a bit easier for ourselves.
We moved two target butts closer, to the distance of a standard indoor round at 18 metres, and shot from under the shelter at Connell Park.
It was good for the novelty and made shooting a lot more comfortable than shooting in the rain.
Bellingen Archers meet at 8:30am every Sunday at Connell Park on the way into Bellingen and anyone can stop by to watch or ask questions.
Anyone interested in shooting should come and have a chat in person or contact the club president, Fred Loggen, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
