Owner Steve Klipin, sporting a spotless apron, proudly pointed out that 40 per cent of the fresh produce lines are locally sourced and labelled with an “L”.
Prior to that, it was Mouza Gallery and Restaurant, but for most of its life it was a bank.
As well as fruit and vegetables, The Corner Store is selling coffee, cakes and chef-prepared meals that are available to take home or to eat sitting up on a stool at a high table, or a soft sofa, in the light-filled room at the front of the shop.
