Spread across two stages on Saturday August 18, the event kicks off at midday in the back beer garden for a sun-drenched afternoon of laid-back tunes and wine tasting. Then from 6pm, the party moves into the front bar, where the live music goes up a notch for an evening of quality blues rock and dancing.
Blues heavyweights BB Factory headline this year’s event. Hailing from the Gold Coast, BB Factory play a mix of originals and classic blues, funk and rock n' roll delivered in their own signature style.
USA frontman Harold Jackson is known as BB Factory’s “Toastmaster General”. Jackson is a natural singer able to transpose his voice from the soulful clean to the downright dirty blues shouting from the yesteryear.
Joining BB Factory on the line-up will be a heap of smoking hot touring and local blues n' roots acts including Mick Daley's Alternative Fax, Glenn Heath & The Deep Blue Sea, Ollie McGill Trio, Joe Newton and The Boogie Men.
The Fed Bluesfest is a free event. From 12pm till close, Saturday August 18, at the Federal Hotel Bellingen.
