Swimming in the 60yrs + age division, Peter, who will be 71 next month, took on four individual events, winning medals in all of them.
He took out three silvers in 100m obstacle race, 50m manikin carry and 100m manikin carry with fins.
But the big one was his gold medal in the 100m manikin tow with fins, of which he is deservedly proud.
“In three of the four races I swam faster than I did at last year’s State Championships,” Peter said.
Peter swims in both the NSW and National Surf Lifesaving Championships every year.
