The weekend kicks off with a range of workshops - instrumental workshops for schools with the Acacia Quartet as well as percussion, drumming and guitar workshops with our 2018 performers.
The Bellingen Youth Orchestra will present the opening night concert with the Acacia Quartet, who will again be performing works by local HSC music students.
Renowned classical guitarist Karin Schaupp will also be joining the BYO. And for the first time, primary school age musicians will participate.
Karin Schaupp and the Acacia Quartet will present their own fine concert on the Saturday afternoon, followed in the evening by high energy drumming maestros, Taikoz Quartet.
There will also be plenty to see and do during the day, including performances by popular local acapella groups Sohum and Bromantics and the Northern Sydney Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
Sunday is a big day this year with three major concerts as well as performances by madrigal choir 11th Hour and Bellingen’s Akabella group. Exciting young up-and-coming wind quintet Aracadia Winds start the day with a much anticipated morning concert.
Blush Opera, a fun-loving boutique opera company, are performing in the afternoon accompanied by the Regional Conservatorium’s group of talented young musicians, The Academy.
And to end the festival, we are delighted to announce the presence of fine jazz musicians Sandy Evans and her Trio.
