It started as a visit to the Dorrigo Library to see how they were celebrating NAIDOC and then there was the visit to the Heritage Hotel who are finalists in the North Coast Tourism awards.

Along the way I needed a coffee, so dropped into one of the newer cafes in town, Components and found plenty of happy customers willing to smile for my camera.
And then there was the Fireweed Information session, which was well-attended and about which there will be more news forthcoming.
Importantly, I saw signs everywhere around the town advertising the ‘Made in Dorrigo’ markets tomorrow … yet another wonderful thing to do this weekend in the Bellingen Shire.
They will be packed with locally made produce to eat, wear or decorate your world with. If you need a break from the music in Bellingen, it’s only a 30 minute drive up the mountain – and the views are absolutely stunning.
