Dr Don Radford is a GP Anaesthetist with special interests in cardiology, diabetes, geriatrics and dermatology. He also works at the Bellingen hospital seeing emergency patients as well as those admitted to hospital. He also performs anaesthetics for day surgeries.
Dr Deirdre Little is a GP obstetrician with a special interest in paediatrics, women's health, fertility and particularly adolescent menstrual disturbances. Her research in adolescent women's health has been published in several international medical journals.
Dr Cain English areas of expertise include travel medicine, evidence-based family medicine, management of skin lesions and muscular and skeletal problems including joint injections.
Dr Kelly Hamill is a GP Obstetrician with interests in maternal and child health, breastfeeding, phenylketonuria (PKU), youth and men's health, and chronic diseases. She also performs skin excisions and Implanon insertion/removal. Dr Hamill has also pursued further training in mental health and is an active researcher in SIDS, co-sleeping and breastfeeding. She also lectures ethics.
Dr Justin Oughton has interests in paediatrics, muscular skeletal, skin problems including acne and eczema as well as metabolic and inflammatory disorders, paediatrics and chronic disease management. Justin has been exposed to a range of different health care models through working at a number of different GP practices in the region.
Drs Ariana Arulampalam and Emily Watt are the newest members of the team and are now specialising in rural and remote medicine and general practice. Both also work at the Bellinger River District Hospital.
Now they are better able to accommodate emergency fit-ins, travellers as well as the routine health care of the community.
North Bellingen Medical Centre supports closing the gap in indigenous health.
