Consisting of 14s and 18s men and 16s women, the teams have all made finals and will be heading to Tamworth early May. This is a first for BVBA in 13 years, giving our players and teams the opportunity to play in an elite competition, a wonderful and challenging experience that they have enjoyed immensely.
There are also our Northern Junior League (NJL) consisting of 12s,14s, 18s and two 16s men as well as 16s and 18s women who have also been successful with their season heading into round three next month..
Braves have 10 teams altogether with players travelling from afar as Foster/Taree and Port Macquarie who make the trip weekly for training.
As we are a small club with limited facilities for training purposes, Southern Cross University has helped us out, which we are very grateful for.
Our coaching staff are the people who help make our teams successful each year with their dedication for the game as well as our players who thrive on their passion of for basketball and true sportsmanship.
Our club motto is #bebrave …..
Success is not always about winning or losing, it’s about being a team player, going out on the court and playing hard with 100 per cent, effort keeping your head up and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
