Ghosts of Leigh was staged at the Empire Theatre on February 22 and 23.
Dallas grew up in conservative 1970s Toowoomba and drew on his own experiences as an outsider subjected to hatred and violence to create the lead character of Dandelion.
Now a senior lecturer in creative writing at the University of Southern Queensland, he will be running two creative writing workshops in Bellingen at the end of this month, one called “10 Tips to Become a Better Writer” and one called “Writing for Performance”.
