So when Bellingen Netball Club’s first Come & Try Day for the season was held on Saturday, there were lots of excited kids catching up and reconnecting where they left off at the end of last season.
There were also some new fresh faces too, including kids from Urunga and Dorrigo who are joining the Bellingen competition this year. In fact there are enough kids from Urunga that they are planning on having training at Urunga during the week and it is hoped that with a few more numbers, Dorrigo will have enough to run their own training sessions in Dorrigo during the week too.
There are another two Come & Try Days to go, and they are a great opportunity to see what netball is like, before signing up for the season.
The season in Bellingen officially commences in school term two on Saturday May 5.
So if your kids are keen to see what netball is like come along on Saturday March 17at 1 pm at the netball courts in Connell Park. You can also get in touch with the club at bellingennetball@gmail.com
