Entries for the annual EJ Mantova Memorial Art Competition are now open for anybody from 12–112 years who would like to fill their canvas with colour, black and white or just about any variation of mixed media.

You are limited only by your imagination. Each year this competition runs alongside the Bellingen Agricultural Show and is the longest continuously running Art prize in Bellingen.
There are six classes for entries carrying a total prize package of $3000:
- Landscape or Seascape
- Marie Warwick Memorial Watercolour
- Open
- Drawing
- Sculpture
- Children’s Division 2-17 years
As additional incentive there’s also the Children’s Encouragement Award, a 2019 Camp Creative Scholarship, and the NAB People’s Choice Award.
Closing date for entry forms is Friday April 13, then entries should be delivered to the Showground Pavilion Gallery between 4-7pm, Tuesday April 24.
The official opening and prize giving ceremony will take place at 2pm, Saturday April 28 in the Pavillion Gallery at the Bellingen Showground, and winners will be announced in the local press soon afterwards.
