With approximately 22,000 visitors frequenting the centre each year it plays a pivotal role in increasing the length of stay, visitor spend and dispersing visitors throughout the shire.

Many people may be unaware that the centre also provides a great opportunity to showcase local art and product through its retail section. The Visitor Information Centre is a reflection of the township and local area and provides a glimpse into what Bellingen Shire has to offer as well as the make-up of our culture and people.
As a result the centre would like to offer more local product within the retail space, so if you are a local artist or producer looking for an avenue to sell your product under either wholesale or consignment arrangements we would love to hear from you.
