Starting her singing career in Bellingen as a teenager, Lily began performing with her English jazz guitarist father Arthur Golding at Martha and Marios, an Italian restaurant that has now been turned into 5 Church St.
She also did gigs around Coffs Harbour and down the coast with the high school rock band as well as local pop and blues band Invisible Inc.
She performed regularly at the Bellingen Jazz Festival after moving to Sydney to make a name for herself and had a radio show on Sydney's Eastside FM for 15 years, with her burgeoning radio career having begun at Bellingen's own 2BBB.
Since settling in London, the Australian jazz/soul diva has appeared at leading jazz venues including Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Club, Pizza Express and The Hideaway, where she has recently finished her second year of performances including the annual Christmas show, Aretha Franklin show and a tribute to the great ladies of jazz Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald.
In demand for her warm engaging stage presence and stylistic versatility Lily has made a name for herself with British audiences and has been invited back to the Budapest Jazz Club in 2018 after a sell out show last year.
Returning to her roots, Lily is very excited to be coming full circle to the venue where it all started as a teenager, 5 Church St.
