Bellingen Public School students celebrated NAIDOC week 2017 by creating these weavings that reflect the theme of Our Language Matters. Every student in the school, from kindergarten to year 6, contributed to the creation of the weavings. These weavings represent the Gumbaynggir peoples’ connection with water, land, sun, animals and language.
The weavings will be on display until the end of the school holidays.
