West Papua, on the western side of the island of New Guinea and our immediate neighbour 200km north, has been occupied by the Indonesian military for 54 years, resulting in gross human rights violations recognised by many researchers as slow-motion systematic genocide.
Mark Worth's iconic documentary and guest speakers Titus Kabuaya, Rex Rumakeik, and Julian McKinlay King will highlight the history of this ongoing conflict and the role played by the international community in the struggle for self determination and an end to the colonial oppression, environmental destruction, and ongoing suffering of our closest neighbours.
Donations will go to support the United Liberation Movement for West Papua's upcoming trip to the United Nations General Assembly.
