This year’s theme, ‘Escape to Everywhere’, aims to further a child’s sense of wonder about the world. Two special events have been planned:
Local artist, Amanda Hazlett who illustrated the popular children’s book The Psycho Scientist will conduct a drawing workshop at Bellingen Library on Friday August 25 at 4pm. This is a free event and is suitable for both primary and high school students. The Psycho Scientist will be available for sale and Amanda is happy to provide an autograph.
An additional free event will be held on Tuesday August 29. Annie Bryant will visit Bellingen library at 4pm to perform some of her catchy children’s songs. This performance is targeted at pre-schoolers and Annie’s music will also be available for sale and an autograph.
