Twenty-six students from Bellingen High School travelled to Lismore to compete in the North Coast CHS Athletics Carnival on Thursday August 3. This large group of students achieved amazing individual results competing against the best athletes from the 39 high schools on the North Coast.

Kyan Upsall: 1st 800m, 3rd 1500m (14 yrs);
James Ruming: 2nd Hurdles.
13 years
Hunter Cruikshank: 2nd 200m;
Lewis Pagulayan-McCabe: 3rd Hurdles.
14 years
Isaac Malt: 1st 1500m Walk.
16 years
Liam Nisbett: 3rd 100m, 200m.
17 years
Lee Tuhi: 1st Shot put, 2nd Discus; Dane Cross: 3rd Discus.
GIRLS
13 years
Laeli Couper: 3rd Hurdles, 1500m Walk; Emmaline Bowes: 2nd Hurdles; Sophie Boyd: 1st 800m.
15 years
Willow Neal: 1st 800m, Triple Jump, 2nd 400m, 3rd High Jump;
Sophie Keough: 1st 400m, 2nd 200m, 3rd 100m;
Brynne Couper: 2nd 3000m Walk, 3rd Hurdles.
16 years
Sirene Brandie: 3rd 100m, 200m.
17 years
Katie Thorn: 1st 400m, 100m Hurdles; 2nd 200m, Triple Jump, Shot put, Long Jump; 3rd 100m, Discus.
Relay
Bellingen High School also had three relay teams qualify and all three teams won convincingly, leaving other teams well behind.

17 yrs + girls relay team
Katie Thorn, Gaia Malcisi, Talissa Alford, Maia Berry
This means 17 Bellingen High School students will be travelling to Homebush in early September.
