The message of Harmony Day is ‘everyone belongs’, and the event aims to engage people to participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster a sense of belonging for everyone.
This year, Bellingen Neighbourhood Centre and Bellingen Shire Council are hosting a Harmony Day celebration. All are invited to a Picnic in the Park at Maam Gaduying – Meeting Place (council grounds in Bellingen).
If it is raining, we will have the picnic in the Memorial Hall. Bring a rug and a plate of food to share, get your face painted or design and paint a shirt (bring one along). The Harmony Day celebration is from 11am and ends mid-afternoon.
