The School of Physical Culture and Dance clubs held their interclub competition last Saturday at Bellingen Memorial Hall. There were clubs competing from Bellingen, Nambucca, Inverell, Warialda, Yallaroi, and Bingara. Bellingen showed great results for all participants in only their 2nd year performing and the girls shone on the stage. The Bellingen girls competed very strongly in the Tiny Tots with Immi Davis and Abbey Glyde both making the finals and Immi placing fourth.

Teeny Boppers 8-9 years placed all our girls in the finals with Risa Hall taking first place, Taya Forbes second, Evie Glyde third, Ava Mitchell fourth and Ayah Tabrikh in the top 12.
Kaitlyn Bond performed well in the Teeny Bopper 10-12 years. Senior students included Emma Ranger and Natalie White placing second and Kristy Glyde second in Elementary ladies with teacher Debbie White in Advanced Ladies.
Judges then chose Bellingen’s Risa Hall as a very deserving grand champion for best overall competitor. The Bellingen club parents put on a great barbecue and baked goods stall and helped raise money for the girls. A very successful day for Bellingen Physical Culture. Next competition will be in September at Warialda. Good luck girls!
