His team also won the overall tournament for under 18 bowlers.
To cap off a great tournament, Cory has been selected to represent Australia in the under 18s squad in Melbourne early next year.
At this level the competition is fierce and it was with great pride Urunga welcomed Cory home with more successes to add to his already impressive record.
The 17-year-old is in year 10 at Bellingen High School.
Corey has aways shown a natural talent for the sport, and was coached by Jock Fisher and now by his father.
Apart from one year at West Coffs Bowling Club in 2012, Cory has played all his bowls at Urunga and was a member of the club's winning team in this year's number two pennants.
