Growers offered their best natives, tropical, fruit, garden, exotics and flowering plants, with supporting stalls providing garden tools, pots and equipment.
Workshops provided good tips on gardening, you could have your photo taken with a talkative sulphur-crested cockatoo, and the crowds were serenaded by live music from young people with violins, violas and cellos.
This year's theme was 'Plant your own Wildlife Habitat' and for the first time the Plant Fair went 'plastic free', with boxes, trolleys and wheelbarrow-wielding Scouts and Venturers taking the place of plastic bags.
