Six of those teams won their preliminary final to progress to the Sunday Grand Finals.
These included Under 16 Women vs Port Macquarie, Under 16 Men vs Byron Bay, Under 18 Women vs Gosford, Under 18 Men vs Tamworth. All these teams were runners up.
Under 12 Men vs Taree and Under 14 Men vs Byron Bay took out the Grand Final and are heading to State Cup in Maitland at the end of the month.
With fierce competition our Braves fought hard, and with spectacular talent the players showed true leadership with crucial decision-making and pressure on the court as they went out proud.
These players are a true example of what Bellinger Braves is all about. Working hard, training as a team with commitment and exceptional coaching, these players have achieved the ultimate by bringing home gold and silver medals.
Braves have been the most successful association in NJL over the past three years, which is a huge achievement by all our players, coaches, referees, managers and committee members who are all volunteers.
