Congratulations to Miss Wallace and her 24 member senior choir for achieving a long held goal of being offered a place at the NSW Schools Spectacular to be held at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena at Olympic Park at the end of November this year.

This event will be televised by Channel 7 on a date to be advised.

The Urunga Public School students will be among more than three thousand other public education students performing on two evenings and one afternoon matinee.

To be selected the choir had to compile an audition recording for which they sang ‘Try Everything’ by Shakira. Once produced this was sent to Sydney for consideration.

The School Spectacular’s audition committee was obviously very impressed with the local school choir!

  • The School Spectacular is an iconic cultural event that engages and showcases students of varying ages, cultures, skills and socio-economic backgrounds, from metropolitan, rural and remote regions of NSW.
