The show will feature plenty of competitions over the weekend including the unique decorate a gumboot competition, farm produce and fruit judging, jams, jellies and preserves categories, flowers and floral art judging and the home brew judging competition.
On Sunday the Fun Run will be held, the Young Farmers Challenge and Partner Carrying Competition.
There will be a Vintage Car Show to delight car lovers and fashionistas.
For the kids you can purchase a children’s passport at the BCU stand located at the entrance to the Show Pavilion.
For $2 each, kids will be excited to collect the stamps from the 10 displays to visit. Collect all 10 stamps to receive a prize. All school age children are eligible to take part in the fun.
Face painting is a favourite for the young ones, there is sideshow alley to visit and experience all of the awesome carnival rides.
Troppo Bob will perform his magic show, head on over to Old McDonald’s Farm to pet the animals and Steve McEwan Reptile World will get you up close and personal with all the slithering cold blooded creatures.
Watch the cooking demonstrations and fine tune your culinary skills.
For the history buffs there are the historical display trade stands and a pavilion full of exciting exhibits.
Don’t miss the woodchop event, it really is a crowd pleaser.
Horse riding and showjumping, cattle judging, a roving harp player, clowns and hoola hoopers.
The Grand Parade will take place at 2pm.
On Saturday, the evening entertainment begins from 5pm featuring music by The Mid North from 7pm.
Return with the family on Sunday for the Young Farmers Challenge and Partner Carrying Competition.
There will be an art competition which will include photography and sculpture categories to complete the Bellingen Show.
Family tickets are available for $30.00 for 2 adults and up to four school age children. Adults $12.00, children school age $6.00 children under 6 years are free and pension and seniors card holders are $6.00.
