A showcase of the students’ work and an excellent opportunity to get dressed up for the red carpet. As Annie Phelan, head of Creative and Performing Arts said in her speech, it shows that it is the people who are important in a school, not the buildings.
The crowd were enthusiastically vocal and we were treated to aural delight from the school concert band and yummy cakes by the P&C, plus we all got to star in Blaise Borrer’s latest film, a mockumentary about a boy band.
Winners
- Minute Me - Sam Case,
- Music Video and People's Choice - Tom Ruming,
- Best Doco/mocko - Blaise Borrer and Willow Driver,
- Best Short Film - Willow Beynon-Coles.
- Young film makers of the year was a group affair, with Duke Cruikshank, Gabby Kelsey and Janardan Cowell-Curry taking the award.
The best dressed prizes, supplied by the lovely sponsors Sweet Bellingen, went to Sasha Eberding, James Ruming, Gaia Malcisi and Jordan Neville.
Thanks to everyone who contributed by volunteering, entering films or just attending.
See you next year!
