Emergency services were called to Orlando St, Coffs Harbour, about 5.30pm on Tuesday, following reports of a car crash.
Police have been told that a white Toyota Hilux was travelling west on Harbour Street and a white Mercedes GLC250 travelling east collided.
The Toyota continued on Harbour St, until it reached the intersection of Marina Dr, and hit stationary blue Kia Sportage.
The Toyota continued along Orlando before hitting a large concrete column outside a business on Orlando Street.
A 36-year-old woman who was in the Toyota Hilux was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a serious condition.
Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command with the assistance of Mid North Coast Crash Investigation Unit attended and established a crime scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 36-year-old was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for mandatory test.
