A low pressure trough crossing NSW during Thursday will bring some unsettled weather to the Mid-North Coast over the next few days.

The trough will move offshore and to the north but not before we have a series of showers and possible thunderstorms through to Friday.
Meteorologist with weatherzone Brett Dutschke says Thursday’s maximum temperatures will climb into the high 20s.
“There is also a high chance of some rain late in the day and even a thunderstorm into the late afternoon or evening,” he said.
“It also looks likely that there is a chance of more than one thunderstorm too, but most likely over inland parts that could affect the coast.
“Any storm late in the day could also bring damaging winds.”
Friday should see showers or even a thunderstorm prior to sunrise before opening up to a sunny day with a maximum temperature of 27 degrees.
A very weak low pressure trough will form which will affect weather conditions for the weekend.
Saturday will see the small chance of a shower – which will be brief and light – before a generally dry and cool day with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees.
Sunday will warm up slightly to 25 degrees and also looks to be a dry day although there is a late chance of a shower or storm confined to inland parts.
“Early next week we should see temperatures warming up a degree or two with Wednesday reaching 30 degrees,” Mr Dutschke said.
Apart from Thursday’s forecast damaging winds, the remainder of the weather week appears to be reasonably calm.
