Record price for Angus weaners

Around 650 head of mixed quality cattle were penned at the last regular Fat sale (October 27), with the majority of the yarding again comprising of restocker weaners and sucking calves. While prices for these grades were once again firm to dearer in places, heavier export cattle eased in line with statewide trends. Store cows sold well, highlighting the demand for store cattle of all classes by pasture rich but cattle poor producers across the eastern seaboard.
