The student leaders served a scrumptious morning tea to all who came. This was catered for by the wonderful Mrs Hearps from the canteen and her trusty P&C helpers.
When the grandchildren joined their grandparents you could feel the love. After morning tea, every class in the school performed an item.
There was singing, dancing – some also with the grandparents, ukulele playing and a band performance. A huge thank you to music teacher, Mrs Thorn, for organising all the items and for her energy and enthusiasm.
In this age of social media and technology it was beautiful to see the loving interaction between people of all ages.
The school looks forward to doing it again next year!
