Tickets to Australia’s longest running travelling film festival are on sale now, bringing world class, festival quality cinema to the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The ten film program (eight features and two documentaries) includes: Jason Bateman’s The Family Fang, a funny and bittersweet family drama about a brother and sister in search of their missing famous parents, starring Nicole Kidman alongside the director; a French romantic comedy Up for Love starring the Oscar winning Jean Dujardin (The Artist), and Cannes Film Festival winner The Salesman.
Also screening are 2016 Festival favourites: opening night film Mustang, a poignant coming of age drama described as ‘The Virgin Suicides’ set in Anatolia, Sydney Film Festival Prize winner Aquarius, and Indigenous documentary Zach’s Ceremony, winner of Sydney Film Festival’s Foxtel Movies Audience Award for best documentary.
Audiences can also look forward to the story of a rapping Afghani refugee Sonita, Irish musical comedy hit Sing Street, Danish director Thomas Vinterberg’s latest film The Commune, and a delightful Spanish fable The Olive Tree.
Travelling Film Festival Manager Lisa Kitching says the Festival is delighted to return to the Mid North Coast.
