Individuals, groups and businesses are invited to nominate for an Ian Cooper Award for access and inclusion. These awards are made to local services, groups and businesses in acknowledgement of their efforts to improve access to their service and/or premises of groups who are inclusive of people with different abilities.

The awards are named after the late Ian J Cooper, who was a founding member of the council access committee and a local pioneer of disability access who worked tirelessly to improve access issues throughout the Shire and beyond.
The awards will be presented to successful recipients in December in celebration of International Day of People with a Disability.
Previous award recipients include Lombok Café, Diggers Tavern, Bellingen Court House and Dorrigo Uniting Church.

Nominations must be submitted by Friday, November 11.
