Light up the road with Urunga Bridgestone’s blue caps

Bridgestone Service Centre Urunga will sell specially made valve caps over the next two months and donate all proceeds to the Leukaemia Foundation to help fund vital research into a cure for a disease that strikes 35 Australians every day.

“Our special blue valve caps are a way for members of the community to show their support for Light the Night – a meaningful event for many people affected by this heartbreaking disease,” Bridgestone Service Centre Urunga’s Dwayne Kearsley said.

“For less than a five-dollar note, you can play a part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s mission to help create a brighter future for blood cancer patients and families. It’s a simple idea that we hope will have a big impact.”

Bridgestone Service Centre Urunga’s Light the Night blue valve caps are just three dollars for a set of four and the funds raised will go to the Leukaemia Foundation’s Career Establishment Grant.

“It is great to know that the funds raised from this initiative are making a real difference in the Leukaemia Foundation’s efforts to find a cure for blood cancer,” Dwayne said.

“The initiative has received tremendous support from the local community in previous years and we are hopeful that support will continue – come and see us in store today.”
