The Bellingen Valley/Dorrigo Magpies had their 2016 Presentation Night at the Diggers Tavern on Saturday night.

Showing there is spirit still left in the Club despite the recent difficult seasons a large crowd was once again in attendance.
Corey Cross in his first year of senior rugby league took out the main award the “Stephen Glyde Medal” for Player of the Year.
Corey played every game over the season and was a constant threat to opposition teams in both attack and defence.
Corey was also held in high regard by his teammates and was judged by them to be Players Player.
The other senior players to take out several awards were Luke Beaumont. Luke has not missed a game in his three seasons of senior league and has always been at the top of his game. Luke was the highest Point Scorer, Best Local Product and Best and Fairest. The Mitch Adams Most inspirational senior player was Luke Rose and junior player Jack Mitchell. Rookie of the year being a player in his first year of senior football went to Shane Holten.
All in all a very enjoyable and successful night. With coaches Troy Robinson, Brad Hart, Warren Cutmore and Mick Meadows all keen on further improvement of the club in 2017 the Magpies can look forward to a most successful season.
