Two students from Urunga Public School had outstanding results at the Mid North Coast Athletics Carnival held at Coffs Harbour. Lulu McGrath won the 10yrs 100m sprint and the junior girls’ long jump with a record breaking jump of 4.31m. This record had not been broken since 1972.

Eliza Cross finished third in the junior girls discus. Both girls have qualified to compete at the State Carnival at Homebush to be held later in October. We wish them both the very best.
