Craig started the night in second place behind arch rival Nick Bertsos and just in front of Nick Hopper.
Craig held his nerve and serve on a chilly night he will never forget.
But it was the fast finishing Richie Brittingham that caught the eye. He flashed home to finish third, and his first KB Cup victory is in sight.
Craig has now won three KB Cups in a row, a feat never before achieved.
In an emotional speech, Craig thanked his team for all the support he has received.
“If it wasn't for my physio Jo Keers, I would not be here tonight,” a tearful Craig said.
The question on everyone's lips is – does he have the metal to make it four in a row?
Celebrations finished the night with drinks and Three Hats Turner’s legendary gourmet barbecue to make it an evening to remember.
