Not quite the footballing mountain that the Lions presented but hey the Raiders planted the flag on that summit so why not seventh-placed Korora?
They started in fine fashion too. Fabrice Wamara took full toll of some tepid Storm defending on 9 minutes to hammer in the first from the top of the box and that strike followed shortly after by a delicious chip over the head of the advancing Storm keeper from Tim Rup retch after 13 minutes.
The Storm’s defence disjointed and struggling to contain the attacking thrusts of the Urunga side at this point – not so their attack though.
Nathan Parkins replied for the home side, on the spot to deftly flick in a crossed ball that found the Raiders net to give 2-1 score line on 27 minutes and refocus a somewhat disorganised blue and white outfit. From that point things got a little strange as the sides went at it goal for goal.
