Friday – and including the weekend – are shaping up as beautiful sunny days with expected cooler overnight temperatures.
weatherzone meteorologist Guy Dixon said temperatures should reach 18 and 19 degrees during the day featured by sunny conditions.
“The clear skies and mild air mass should see overnight minimum temperatures drop to around five degrees on each morning,” he added.
Friday should experience light west nor westerly breezes tending west south west into the afternoon with a southerly predicted on Saturday and Sunday.
Those conditions should see good quality surf for the majority of the weekend.
“The swell forecast includes a mid range southerly swell peaking on Saturday to about the three to four foot range.
“But, generally, the week is pretty much benign in terms of swell for the next seven days.
“I’d suggest that large south facing beaches and those with protected points will see smaller surf conditions.”
Mr Dixon said the weather conditions should remain stable but relatively mild over the week.
Moving to the start of the week, Monday will be slightly warmer and reach about 20 degrees.
It is expected that some showers will develop on Tuesday and Wednesday with the passage of a cold front sweeping in from the south.
“At this stage, the Mid-North Coast should get an insignificant level of rain, perhaps in the 10mm range,” he said.
“In terms of temperatures, we should see a three to four degree drop early next week.”
