Pacific Highway upgrade a focus
Over $1.5 billion will be spent on completing the upgrade of the Pacific Highway this year, with the NSW Government announcing its commitment of $200 million to help ensure the upgrade meets its 2020 deadline.

“The state government along with the federal government has ensured the work can be completed as soon as possible,” Ms Pavey said.
“The investment in infrastructure is very important because it means jobs growth – we have seen that here in Oxley with the Pacific Highway projects.
“Looking ahead we are working on helping councils with infrastructure projects that will encourage industry and manufacturing leading to jobs in years ahead.”
