Police have charged the 24-year-old after he allegedly also threatened a 22-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend at a Goulburn home on Saturday.
It is alleged the man made menacing posts on social media and via text message.
The posts are not believed to be directed towards any specific person or location.
These posts have since been removed.
The man was arrested by police from Redfern Local Area Command on Tuesday afternoon.
He was later charged with using carriage service to threaten to kill, intimidate and to cause fear of physical or mental harm, as well as using carriage service to menace, harass or offend.
He was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said inquiries are continuing.
