Ian McLauchlan Caught and Released the Biggest Flathead at 52cm, a Catch and Release Bream at 31cm and the longest Bass at 42cm. Sam Taylor had the Longest Bream at 35cm released, whilst Jack Nolan had a good Flathead at 48cm Released. The only Lady Competitor and our defending Champion Lady Cassandra Fullagar caught and released a 46cm Flathead and a 26cm Bream. Richard and Archie McCabe along with Carl Redmond had some Luderick and Flathead to 500grams.
The weather surely turned it on for last weekends Deep Sea Competition, with a glassed out ocean 15-20 kilometres of shore.
Most boats had excellent bags of Snapper, Pearl Perch and Traglin by fishing in depths from 60-80mtrs.
Rob McLauchlan took out the biggest Snapper with a 1.66kg fish, Whilst Fred Kieser Had the Heaviest Bag and most species at seven including a nice Amberjack at 3.48kgs, A Venus Tusk Fish weighing 2.69kgs and a Sampson Fish at 3.52kgs.
