From Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October work will be carried out to improve the road surface of the Pacific Highway between Ferry and Ranger streets at Urunga.
The road surface will be removed and new asphalt will be installed to provide a safer journey for road users.
The work will be carried out between 7pm and 6am each evening, weather permitting, to minimise impacts on motorists.
Lane closures, reduced speed limits and traffic control will be in place for the safety of road users and workers.
Motorists may experience delays of up to five minutes due to these changed traffic conditions and should allow extra travel time.
Every effort will be made to minimise noise associated with the work.
Up to date information, including any date changes will be displayed on electronic message signs along the road.
