Two BAE Hawk MK127 jet trainers, from 76 Squadron RAAF Williamtown, commanded by Flight Lieutenant Daniel Druitt will over fly the memorial at 11.05 travelling west to east, using Waterfall Way as their axis. After the first pass they will circle back and repeat the manoeuvre.
The RSL requested this salute late last year as part of the 100th Anniversary commemoration and are pleased and honoured that this task is part of the RAAF’s National ANZAC Day ceremonial commitment. Due to a number of constraints we couldn't synchronise this salute with the main ANZAC Day Service at 9am. Please note that bad weather may impact this fly past.
The Bellinger Valley RSL sub branch wish to thank the RAAF for their support.
