A 46-year-old driver and his young passenger had a lucky escape on Tuesday when the car they were in left the road and rolled into a creek west of Bellingen on the Gleniffer Rd.

Police said the driver lost control of the car when approaching a right hand bend heading towards Bellingen from Gleniffer at 5.55pm.
The car travelled across the gravel verge, through grass and rolled several times before landing on its roof in a creek bed.
The two men were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and the driver was taken to hospital where blood samples were taken.
The driver has been spoken to by police and causes of the accident at still being investigated.
