Dorrigo High School sent six swimmers to the North Coast regional swimming carnival in Lismore on Thursday, March 5 and they’ve come away with some outstanding results.

All six qualified for the Combined High Schools state carnival at the end of March in Sydney.
Libby Waugh has qualified in the 12 years girls 200m, 100m and 50m freestyle events, as well as the 100m backstroke.
Rekkii Byrne qualified in the 13 girls 200m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 100m breaststroke. Amos Colburn qualified in 17 years and over boys 200m freestyle, 200 individual medley and 100m butterfly.
The 15 girls relay team, consisting of Alice Capps, Maddie Dickings, Mattiah Beelitz and Rekkii rallied together and swam a strong race to qualify as the second fastest team from the North Coast.
All the swimmers would all like to thank the efforts of their coach Geoff Eastwood and the Dorrigo Swim Centre.
