Jessica Marks has displayed excellent performances at the NSWCHS State Championships held in Armidale. For the second year in a row she has been selected in the NSWCHS 1st eleven team. This is an outstanding achievement.

Representing the North Coast team and opening the batting, Jess achieved scores of 88, 75, 49, 2 and 2 in her 5 innings. This gave her an average of over 43 runs an outing, an average any cricketer would be proud of. On top of this she snagged 5 wickets as a part time bowler. Jess helped her team go through the Championships undefeated. She was voted the most valuable member of her team and received the Blackwell Trophy.
Jessica is an extremely talented cricketer who has a great future in this sport.
