It comes in response to the communities anti-aerial spray campaign and in a statement to the Courier-Sun Forestry Corporation said the seminar conducted over the internet would provide locals with more information and give them a chance to question the experts.
"Community members have asked for independent scientific and expert information, so we will be delivering the information session as a webinar to allow those experts, including one from inter-state, to participate," a spokesperson for Forestry Corporation said.
"The webinar will be independently facilitated and allow participants ample opportunity to submit questions and have them answered by the experts or by Forestry Corporation staff. A recording of the session will be posted online afterwards for those community members who were unable to attend."
