Police want your help finding a teenager who escaped custody while on day release in Coffs Harbour.

The 16-year-old boy was in the company of Juvenile Justice Youth Officers at Sandy Beach about 1.10pm Saturday when he escaped custody.
Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command were alerted to the youth’s escape and immediately stepped up patrols of the area; however, he could not be found.
Investigating officers are now seeking public assistance as they try to locate the teenager, who has been described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 170-175cm tall, with a thin build, dark brown complexion, short-brown hair, and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing black shorts, a blue long-sleeve rash top and no shoes.
